This protective glove consists of an underlayer of butyl and a Viton® coating of 0.2 mm. The total glove thickness is 0.6 mm. It also offers good mechanical properties. The Viton® top layer is resistant to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons (hexane, benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.), halogenated hydrocarbons (trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene, methylene chloride, etc.), organic and inorganic acids (verd. to conc.) and saturated salt solutions. Viton®: Not resistant to esters and ketones.
