A safety boot for special requirements is the STAN S3 HI: this extremely robust model is particularly suitable for work in foundries and offers protection against drops of molten iron and aluminium. Its upper material consists of robust fire-resistant cowhide with heat-resistant seams; steel toecaps and a metal-free penetration protection protect the foot from impact and pressure loads as well as from hazards on the ground. An additional quick-release fastener on the shaft of the slip boot allows the boot to be adjusted to the individual measurements of the wearer. The rough rubber sole is heat-resistant up to 200°C, temporarily up to 300°C, and has a slip-resistant effect. STAN is manufactured in sizes 39 to 48 and is approved for individual orthopaedic measures according to DGUV rule 112-191.
