SR 299-2 is a combination filter consisting of gas filter class 1 and particle filter class 3. The filter is intended for use in Sundströms half and full face masks. The filter (type ABEK1-Hg-P3 R) protects against the following types of gases, vapours and particles: Type A protects against organic gases and vapours, e.g. solvents, whose boiling point exceeds +65 °C. Type B protects against inorganic gases and vapours, e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide. Type E protects against acid gases and vapours, e.g. sulphur dioxide and hydrogen fluoride. Type K protects against ammonia and certain amines, e.g. ethylenediamine. Type Hg protects against mercury vapours. Warning. Maximum exposure time 50 hours. Type P3 R* protects against all types of particulate contaminants. *R (Re-useable): The filter is intended to be used for more than one working shift.
