SR 76-3 is a breathing filter device in combination with a hood for use in accidents involving chemicals. The device is a Sundström half mask made of silicone, which is built into a hood made of chemical resistant material. The hoods are vacuum packed in aluminium bags. The hood is quick and easy to put on, with no prior adjustment required. It is available in two sizes to fit most adults and teenagers. The hood is equipped with a gas filter SR 295, K2 and particle filter SR 510, P3 and protects against all types of particles and the following gas types: K2, ammonia and certain amines, e.g. ethylenediamine. SR 76-3 S is only approved for stationary storage.
