The two-tone Modacryl fabric, together with the reflective stripes, offers the wearer enhanced visibility and full protection in lightingefahresituations. The improved design fulfils the strict requirements of the licencehbprotection.
The garments can be worn on top of each other to provide greater protection against arcing (-> Arc Thermal Performance Value = ATPV) or to increase the threshold when the material breaks (Energy Break open threshold = Ebt). For example, if the undergarment of an ebt of 4.3 Cal/m2 and an overall worn over it reaches an ATPV of 13.6Cal/cm2, the combined ATPV is in any case greater than the sum of the two individual layers, because the layer of air between the layers provides the wearer with additional protection
